We installed a WellDuct Window Drain, WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier sump Pump System, and an UltraSump Battery Back-up System for a homeowner in Cincinnati, Ohio.
A WellDuct Window Drain is installed to keep water from flooding a window drain. A hole is cut through the foundation wall just below the window and a strainer is installed on the outside. On the inside, the Well Ducts is sealed to the wall and tucked into the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System to drain the water out of the window well.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is our patented sub-floor piping system that is used to intercept the water that seeps into the basement. The water is drained into a sump pump system and pumped out of the basement to keep the basement dry.
A SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end 1/3 hp cast iron pump. It includes the WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner and Airtight Lid with an Airtight Floor Drain. The WaterWatch Alarm will sound if the water reaches the point that the pump should have turned on. It will also sound during a pump or power failure to alert the homeowner to a problem with the system. The SuperLiner is a heavy-duty rugged liner that houses the pump and has 96 holes throughout it to allow water to also flow in from under the floor. The Airtight Lid keeps the water from evaporating back into the basement. It also helps to keep objects from falling into the liner, keeps out insects and odors and quiets the pump. The Airtight Floor drain will allow water from a plumbing leak to drain down into the SuperLiner to be pumped out of the basement.
The UltraSump Battery Back-up System will pump water out of the basement during a pump or power failure. It will run on battery power and comes with its own battery and charging station.

The WaterGuard is finished with a layer of cement and only a small wall flange is exposed to allow water to flow into the Waterguard System.
SuperSump and UltraSump Pumping Systems.
The SuperSump and the UltraSump Pumps both fit into the SuperLiner so it won't take up much space in the basement.
