Photo Album: WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and SuperSump Pump System installed in Oakwood, OH

A homeowner in Oakwood, Ohio was having problems with water seeping into the basement and called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati to find a solution to this problem.  The homeowner met with Chris, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump system, along with an UltraSump Battery Back-up System is installed to resolve the water problem for the homeowner. The WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a sub-floor piping System.  The WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the foundation walls and is used to intercept the water that is seeping into the basement.  The water is then drained into a sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement.  This will keep the basement dry so that the homeowner can use the basement without having to deal with water seeping into it.  The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end 1/3 hp Zoeller Cast Iron Pump.  The SuperSump can pump up to 2,650 gallons of water out of the basement.  The SuperSump also includes the WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner, and an Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm will sound if there is a pump or power failure.  This will alert the homeowner to a problem with the system that needs to be resolved.  The SuperLiner is a heavy-duty liner that houses the pump and will also house the UltraSump.  The Airtight Lid keeps the water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps things from falling into the liner and helps to quiet the pump.  The UltraSump is a battery back up system that will automatically turn on during a pump or power failure.  The UltraSump runs on battery power and comes with its own battery and charging station. Now with the WaterGuard installed to intercept the water that seeps in and the sump pump systems installed to pump the water out of the basement, the homeowner can use the basement for storage or extra living space.
