Photo Album: WaterGuard used to resolve water problems in West Chester, OH

A homeowner in West Chester was having problems with water seeping into the basement at the floor near the wall.  The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati and scheduled an appointment with Jeff, a Certified Inspector, to find a solution to this problem.  Jeff recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System with a Trench Drain, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System, and an UltraSump Battery Back-up Pump is installed to resolve this problem for the homeowner. The WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a patented sub-floor piping system used to intercept the water that is seeping into the basement.  The TrenchDrain is a sub-floor piping system also, but it has a grated top to allow water to flow in.  The TrenchDrain is installed across doorways and hatches to intercept water that comes in through the doorways.  The water that is intercepted by the WaterGuard and TrenchDrain is drained into the sump pump system, such as a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System and pumped out of the basement to keep the basement dry.   The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end Zoeller cast iron pump.  The SuperSump comes with a WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner and Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm will sound if there is a pump or power failure to alert the homeowner to a problem with the system that needs to be resolved.  The SuperLiner houses the pump and has 96 holes throughout it to allow water to flow in from under the floor.  The Airtight Lid keeps water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps out odors and inspects and helps to quiet the pump.  The UltraSump Battery Back-up System will start up if there is a pump or power failure to pump water out of the basement.  It comes with its own battery and charging station.
