Photo Album: WaterGuard and a SuperSump to resolve water problems in Cincinnati, OH

A Cincinnati homeowner was in the process of finishing the basement when they noticed that water was seeping in when we get a hard rain.  They called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati and met with a Certified Inspector to find a solution to this problem.  The Certified Inspector recommended that the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and A SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is installed.   The WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a patented sub-floor piping system that is used to collect water that is seeping into the basement and then drains it out of the basement using a sump pump system. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a 1/3 hp Zoeller cast iron pump that is used to pump water out of the basement.  This system includes an Airtight Floor drain that will allow water from a plumbing leak to drain into the liner to be pumped out of the basement.  The Airtight Lid keeps the water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps objects from falling into the liner and helps to quiet the pump.  The SuperLiner is a heavy-duty liner that will not cave in or crack and is used to house the pump.  It also has 96 holes in the liner to allow water from under the floor to flow into the liner so it can be pumped out of the basement also.  The WaterWatch Alarm will sound if there is a power or pump failure.  This alerts the homeowner to a problem with the system that needs to be resolved. Once the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing system has been installed the homeowner can confidently finish the basement without worries of water intruding into the basement.
