A Cincinnati homeowner was having problems with water seeping into a corner of the basement.  The house was built in the 50s with a block foundation.  The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati to find a solution to this problem. The homeowner met with Walt, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that a SaniDry Sedona, WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is installed to resolve the problems that the homeowner was having in the basement. The SaniDry Sedona is used to filter and dry out the air of the home and bring it to a healthy humidity level.  The Sanidry has filters that are used to filter out dust particles, mold spores, and other allergens.  It is important to have the proper humidity level in the home for comfort level, as well as the health of your home.  Too much humidity encourages mold growth and musty odors in the basement as well as into the living area of the home. The WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a sub-floor drainage system installed over a bed of drainage stone to keep it out of the "mud zone" and avoid clogging.  After installation, the cement is replaced and only a small wall flange is left exposed.   The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is used to pump the water out of the basement.  These systems working together will provide the homeowner will a dry basement and healthier environment in the home.
