Photo Album: Basement and crawl space problems resolved in Cincinnati, OH

A Cincinnati, Ohio homeowner has a home with a basement and a crawl space.  We installed a CleanSpace Liner with CleanSpace Drainage Matting, CleanSpace Vent Covers, SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation, Rim Joist Insulation.  In the basement of this home, we installed WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System, BrightWall Panel, WellDuct Window Drain, and a Sunhouse Window Well Cover.  The CleanSpace Liner is a plastic liner that is permanently attached to the walls and floor of the crawl space.  The CleanSpace Liner provides a mold and vapor-proof barrier between the ground and the home.  The CleanSpace Drainage Matting is a dimpled matting that is installed under the CleanSpace Liner to provide a channel so that water can flow out of the crawl space.  CleanSpace Vent Covers help to provide an airtight seal of the crawl space vents and also prevent debris from entering the crawl space.  The SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation and the Rim Joist Insulation keep the unconditioned air from entering the crawl space and keep the home warmer.   WaterGuardBasement Waterproofing System is a patented piping system that is installed along the perimeter of the foundation walls to intercept water that is seeping into the basement.  The water is then drained into the sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement and away from the home.  This will keep the basement dry and allow the homeowner to be able to use the basement.  The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end 1/3 hp Zoeller sump pump system that is used to pump water out of the basement.  It includes a WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner, and a special Airtight Lid.  BrightWall Panels are sheets of plastic paneling used to cover the walls and also to drain water down into the WaterGuard.  WellDuct Window Drains are used to drain water from the window well and also down into the WaterGuard.  Our systems work together to provide the homeowner with a basement that they can use for extra living space, storage, or recreation without having to worry about water intrusion.
