Photo Album: WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and SuperSump used in Cincinnati, OH

A Cincinnati homeowner was experiencing some water intrusion into the basement and called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati for help resolving this problem.  The homeowner met with Roger, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that the patented WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System are installed to resolve this problem that the homeowner was experiencing in the basement.  WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing system is a patented waterproofing system engineered by Basement Systems.  WaterGuard uses a piping system that is installed into the floor along the perimeter of the basement.  This piping system is set into the floor and will intercept the water that seeps into the basement unseen.  The water is then drained into a sump pump system and will be pumped out of the basement. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is the system recommended for this basement.  The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end Zoeller cast iron pump with a mechanical float switch.  This pump will perform reliably for years and can pump up to 2,650 gallons per hour out of the basement.  The Airtight lid has knockouts that can be used to drain a dehumidifier hose if one is installed into the basement.  The Airtight Lid also has an Airtight floor drain that will allow water from a plumbing leak to drain down into the sump pump liner but will not allow it to come back out into the basement.  It also includes the WaterWatch Alarm that sounds an audible alarm if the water in the liner reaches the point that the pump should have started.  This will give the homeowner notice that there is a problem with the system that needs to be addressed before damage occurs.   WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and the SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System being installed to intercept the water and then pump it back out of the basement will allow the homeowner to use the basement for storage and recreation without worries of water intruding in and causing problems in the home.
