Photo Album: Water seeping into basement through the walls in Cincinnati, OH

A Cincinnati, Ohio homeowner was experiencing water seeping into the basement through the walls.  The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati for help to resolve this problem.  The homeowner met with Jeff, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a TrenchDrain, and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is installed to resolve the problems that the homeowner was experiencing. WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is an interior perimeter drain system.  WaterGuard is installed to intercept the water that is seeping in and then pump it out of the basement through the sump pump.  A TrenchDrain has a grated top to allow water to flow in and is usually installed across basement doorways and hatches. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end 1/3 hp Zoeller cast iron pump.  It includes the WaterWatch Alarm, the SuperLiner, and Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm will sound if the water reaches the point that the pump should have started, or if there is a power outage.  The SuperLiner is a heavy-duty liner that will not cave in or crack.  The Airtight Lid is so strong you can stand on it.  It keeps water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps out insects and odors and helps to quiet the pump.  The UltraSump Battery Back-up System was also installed.  The UltraSump will automatically turn on during times of primary pump failure or if there is a power outage.  It comes with its own battery pack and charging station.   WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System intercepting the water that is seeping in and the SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System pumping the water out of the basement.  This homeowner will be able to enjoy a dry basement without having to worry about water intrusion.
