Photo Album: WaterGuard, SuperSump and ultra sump resolve water seeping in at the seam in Cedarville, OH
A Cedarville, Ohio homeowner was having problems with water seeping in at the seam of the basement walls. They met with Chris, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System, and an UltraSump Battery Back-up System, CleanSpace Wall system and PowerBrace System is installed to resolve this problem that the homeowner was having.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a patented piping system installed in the floor around the perimeter of the foundation to intercept water that seeps into the basement. The water is drained into the sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement
The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end Zoeller cast iron pump. It includes the WaterWatch Alarm, the SuperLiner, and the Airtight Lid. The WaterWatch Alarm will sound an alarm if the water reaches the point that the pump should have turned on. This will alert the homeowner to a problem that needs to be resolved with the system before damage can occur. The SuperLiner is a rugged, heavy-duty liner that will not cave in or crack, and has holes throughout the liner to allow water to flow in from under the floor. The Airtight Lid keeps water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps objects from falling into the liner and quiets the pump.
The UltraSump Battery Back-up System will automatically turn on during a pump or power failure. It will run on battery power and comes with a battery and charging station.
CleanSpace Wall System is our most economical wall system. It is a bright white plastic liner, similar to a pool liner, that covers the walls and also drains wall leaks down into the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System.
PowerBrace System is steel I-beams secured tight against the wall to immediately stabilize a failing wall that is bowing, tilting or cracking. The adjustable bracket is designed to be tightened over time to potentially reverse a failing wall.
