Photo Album: WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and a TripleSafe Sump Pump System resolves water in Waynesville, OH
A Waynesville, Ohio homeowner was having problems with water seeping in on the floor of the finished basement. The homeowner met with Walt, one of our Certified Inspectors. After meeting with the homeowner and inspecting the basement, Walt recommended that the homeowner have WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and a TripleSafe Sump Pump System installed to resolve the problem he was having in the basement.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a perimeter piping system installed in the floor along the foundation walls to intercept water that seeps into the basement. This piping system is set into a trench and covered with a layer of cement and is almost invisible. Once installed, the homeowner can refinish the basement back to the original condition and not have to worry about the carpets getting soaked again.
The TripleSafe Sump Pump System will pump the water out of the basement. The TripleSafe Sump is a three pump system. The first pump does the majority of the pumping. If this pump fails or becomes overwhelmed with heavy water flow then Pump 2 will start. Pump 2, a 1/2 hp high volume pump will run. Both pumps working together can pump up to 6,200 gallons of water per hour out of the basement. Pump 3 is an UltraSump Battery Back-up System. If the power fails, Pump 3 will start up and run on battery power. It comes with a maintenance free battery and its own charging station.
Now that the homeowner had the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and TripleSafe Sump Pump System installed, the basement can be refinished again. Any water that seeps in through the foundation wall will be intercepted by the WaterGuard and pumped back out of the basement.

Here you can see that the Waterguard has been installed. The WaterGuard will intercept the water and drain it into the sump pump.

All three pumps of the TripleSafe system fit perfectly into the SuperLiner so even having three pumps installed, it doesn't take up much room.
