A Middletown, Ohio homeowner was having problems with a bowing wall in the basement. The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati and met with Roger, a Certified Inspector, who recommended a PowerBrace System to resolve this problem.
PowerBraces are steel I-beams that are secured tight against the wall and anchored to the floor and floor joists with brackets. The adjustable bracket allows for the PowerBraces to be tightened over time. PowerBraces immediately stop settling of the foundation wall and can even potentially straighten the wall.
