Photo Album: Thermal Dry Carpet, Everlast Wall Panels, WaterGuard and sump systems installed in Cincinnati, OH
We installed Thermal Dry Carpeting, Everlast Wall Panels, WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System and an UltraSump Battery Back-up System in a home in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Waterguard Basement Waterproofing System is our patented piping system that is installed along the foundation walls to intercept water that seeps into the basement. The water is then drained into a sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement. The system used for this project is the SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System.
The SuperSump is a high-end 1/3 hp Zoeller cast iron pump and includes the WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner and Airtight Lid. The optional UltraSump Battery Back-up pumping system was also installed. This system will automatically turn on and run on battery power during primary pump or power failures.
The EverLast Wall Panels are made of cement board and will not be ruined by moisture like typical drywall would if it becomes wet. These panels are mold resistant and washable and give the basement a nice finished look.
ThermalDry Flooring comes in a variety of finishes for tile or carpet. The ThermalDry flooring has raised pegs on the back of the carpet that will raise the carpet off of the basement floor and allow the carpet to breathe. ThermalDry Flooring is 12" modular tiles that lock together and can be mixed and matched to give the homeowner a customized look.
Before!
This picture shows the basement before the work was done.

Here you can see the pumping systems are ready to go into the liner.

The pumps fit nicely into the SuperLiner and the Airtight Lid will keep water from evaporating back into the basement.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System.
Here you can see the WaterGuard piping has been set into the trench. It will intercept any water that seeps into the basement and drain it into the sump pump system.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System.
Water Guard has been installed and finished with a layer of cement on top. A small Wall Flange is left exposed to allow water to flow into the system.
Spray Foam Insulation.
Spray Foam Insulation has been added behind the finished wall.
EverLast Wall Panels.
The EverLast Wall Panels have been installed. These panels will not be damaged by moisture like traditional drywall boards would be if exposed to moisture.
ThermalDry Carpeting.
The ThermalDry Carpeting has been installed. This carpet will be able to withstand the basement environment and will not rot or mold.
