A Cincinnati homeowner was having problems with water seeping into the finished basement.  He was interested in having the basement waterproofed and also needed a backup sump pump system.   He met with Steve, a Certified Inspector, who recommended a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System along with an Ultra Sump Battery Back up System, WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, and ThermalDry Tile. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System has a 1/3 hp Zoeller cast iron pump, WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner, and an Airtight Lid.  The UltraSump Battery Back up will automatically turn on if there is a pump or power failure and runs on its own battery power.   WaterGuard is a patented piping system that is installed along the foundation walls to intercept water that seeps into the basement.  It is then pumped out of the basement by the sump pump system, such as a SuperSump. ThermalDry Flooring Systems come in a variety of colors and styles carpeted, tiled parquet wood and regular matte finish.  ThermalDry Flooring tiles are 12" square modular tiles that lock together and have raised pegs to raise the tiles off of the concrete basement floor making your floors warmer and also protecting the flooring from any water vapor that seeps in.  The tiles are made of an inorganic material so they will never rot or mold making them a great choice for beautiful basement flooring.
