Photo Album: TrenchDrain, WaterGuard and SuperSump used to resolve water in Mason, OH

A Mason, Ohio homeowner was having a problem with water seeping into the basement.  The water seemed to be coming in from around the door and through the walls of the basement.  The homeowner met with Walt, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that a TrenchDrain, WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System are installed. The TrenchDrain will be installed along the doorway to intercept the water from coming in.  WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a piping system installed along the foundation walls to intercept the water that is seeping into the basement.  The water will then be drained into a sump pump system, such as the SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System. The SuperSump is a high-end 1/3 hp Zoeller sump pump.  It can pump 2,650 gallons of water an hour.  It also comes with the WaterWatch Alarm that will sound if the water reaches the point that the pump should have turned on.  This will alert the homeowner to a problem with the system before damage occurs.  It also has a SuperLiner, a heavy-duty liner, that will not cave-in or crack.  The Airtight Lid that will keep moisture from evaporating back into the basement, keeps things from falling into the liner, keeps out bugs and odors and also quiets the pump.   Now that the water is being intercepted and drained out of the basement by the sump pump, the homeowner will be able to use the basement without concern of water intrusion.
